Major photosynthetic pigment ?
If you are looking for a pigment then that would the the chlorophyll.
Reply:light reaction is not a photosynthetic pigment. Chlorophyll is a pigment in plant cells that is part of the light reaction.
Reply:If this is a choice question then the answer is B - Chlorophyll.

Chlorophyll actually consists of a number of pigments the most common being chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b. They both absorb light in different parts of the spectrum. There are also additional pigments such as carotene and xanthophyll. these absorb light at wavelength at which chlorophyll a nd b are not efficient. They then pass the energy to chlorophyll a and b to use.
Reply:bbbbbb. light rkn is nt a pigment.
