Can something have NO pigment? If so, what color is it?

Can something have NO pigment? If so, what color is it? If something has no pigment, does that mean its clear? if so, does that mean glass has no pigment?

Very few things have no pigment, in fact, several gasses have it, if it had no pigment, it would then be completely clear. Even the atmosphere's air has pigment though. It has a blue pigment. But, glass has pigment, except only small amounts. If a rod of glass extends thousands of feet and light is shined through it, it has a generally blue, green or black pigment.
